Geabler

A lot of people hate this location. It's trashed, it's ugly, and it's in Waltham. I am a Waltham boy, while I am not proud of that, I am proud of the Geabler. it's a cheap rip off of Metro, but it's still cool.

This day I went up here to take some exteriors and see what entrances are here, because my buddy is coming home from Iraq and he is the first one who I went here with. This place, along with many other places around the state are on our list for exploring. Anyway like the Metro post I have one artfagish picture, here it is:

Here are some others that aren't so fancy:

Now I know what your thinking "you didn't go close". Well dumbass me came right from work and forgot to take off my saftey reflective jacket, so you could see me from a mile away.

Met State Admin

Well today after working in the morning I decided I would drive up to Avalon Gay. Just driving up from Trapelo road reminded me of the good ole days. I remember when my good friend was a security guard up there, and how we went off roading every night we were up there. So today brought back many memories. I only have one artfag photo of the admin so here it is:

Here are some not so fancy shots:

Bass Ass

Well today I took a ride with my brother down to the Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place. Then after buying a small air soft gun, we decided to take a ride down the road. after wandering down some back country roads I felt like I should turn around and head back to the interstate, and the place I just happened to turn around in was none-the-less Candycorn State Hospital. I was so shocked, I had no clue that I would go to it today. I didn't want to drive around in there, because I didn't know about the airsoft gun and all that shit, but I am looking forward to a return trip there.

Then i saw this awesome truck in the parking lot!

One Year Ago

Exactly 1 year ago I got my first "Fancy Camera". I loved it. This is my first set that i have ever shot with it. I never had so much fun walking around this huge campus. It was a little chilly out, but other then that the day was perfect for shooting. I still have yet to get back and fully explore this place.

Edgere Drive-In

Well this place was pretty photogenic. It was actually a left turn at the top of my street and 30 miles down the road. But seriously it was worth the ride, in my eyes. I focus much of my attention on the very old sign, because there wasn't much around inside. I could not find the 80 foot screen, it must have been demolished, either that or I was on the opposite side. Well here are my pictures, I tried different styles this time so please give me so feedback.

Fall Photography

The leaves have never been more colorful in my life. A couple weeks ago I just got my license and just like any kid that gets that freedom I drove around a lot! I never had more fun in my life. I was bored, of course, and went for a ride to the viking tower and found this little "lagoon" like place. I thought it looked so nice. I jumped out of my car and went down to the water and started snapping. This place really is gorgeous.

Westboro State Hospital

Well one day i drove out route 9. All the way to Worcester, and spotted something. Holy shit it's the clock tower! I was so excited because this place was slated for demo in a few weeks and I got here. I snapped some shots and the cops came, same usual crap, good guy. We left and drove through Westboro and I figured why not find the state hospital, I pulled into a gas station and ask for directions. We were actually pretty much there. We pulled in an saw a small abandoned building and I looked to my right and saw a tower fence with barbed wire, I got the chills, and it just made me think of an INSANE ASYLUM, which it probably is. It was real eerie. This was the only shot I took, and I don't really wish i took more.
